Suwanee Beerfest 2012

The 2nd annual Suwanee American Craft Beer Festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 31st, 2012. Join us for a great afternoon of sampling over 120 beers, enjoying live music from local artists and eating great food at beautiful Town Center Park in the heart of Suwanee, Georgia.

A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to KINGDOM KIDS. Music starts at noon and runs until 5:00. Ages 21+ to drink and attend.

For just $35 advance purchase and $45 at the door, you’ll get a tasting glass and an awesome afternoon of beer tasting. See you there! For the safety of everyone at the festival, no infants, children, strollers, or pets will be permitted. Please plan accordingly.

Kingdom Kids is excited to be the benefiting charity of the 2012 Georgia High School Combine. Auburn All-SEC Running Back, Brad Lester, as well as current and former NFL players will be gathering February 25, 2012 in Suwanee, GA for all high school football players to learn what it takes to get to the next level. College coaches, rivals.com, All Access to Sports scouts, NationalUnderClassmen.com will all be in attendance for evaluations. If you are interested in enrolling yourself, your athlete, or your team, you may register here.

Help Raise Money 4 the Kids

Olde White Rugby Club is excited to partner with Kingdom Kids to help raise money for local children in need. The January 27th, “4 the Kids” event will be held at Sweetwater Brewery on Ottley Drive in Atlanta.

We’ll have a onetime only cask beer custom for this event, customized pint glasses, food, tours of the facilities and raffle prizes.

Kingdom Kids Awarded Best of Gwinnett for 2011

We are proud to announce our selection as Best of Gwinnett for 2011 in the category of Best Local Charity. Thank you to all of our supporters and volunteers for making this possible – but more so for helping drive our organization to being worthy of this honor. Founders Justin Hutchinson and Kevin Ford are excited to receive this award less than 3 years from inception of the organization.

“We’re honored by being selected for this award. It’s amazing to see what we’ve accomplished in such short time and recognition like this gives us further inspiration to grow our impact in the community,” says Hutchinson.

Ford adds, “With our rapidly increasing impact in Gwinnett and surrounding counties, we are reminded not just how far we’ve come, but how much further we have to go. We can create, build, and grow a terrific organization, but it takes people to continue making that dream a reality- and for those people we are very appreciative.”

Kingdom Kids recently announced their donations exceeding $300,000 to local families and organizations in just under 3 years.

It’s time for the Kingdom Kids Poker Tournament

The third annual Kingdom Kids Poker Tournament will be held at the 1818 Club on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth on December 20th.

Registration begins at 6 PM, with play beginning at 7 PM. This has always been a great fundraiser for Kingdom Kids, and we hope to see you there.

Lily Anderson Sings National Anthem at Braves Game

Congratulations to one of our Kingdom Kids, Lily Anderson, for knocking it out of the park on Thursday evening, July 28th! Lily sang the national anthem in front of thousands at the Braves vs Pirates game and she nailed it! Join us for the 1st Annual Jessi’s Gift 5k Race/1k Fun Run!

In June of 2010, Jessi just returned home from a vacation to Panama City Beach with her best friend Hannah. The week was full of fun activities like parasailing, shopping, swimming, pedicures but when she arrived home she was very tired and had an unexplained fever which returned the following day. After a trip to the the ER and confirming very low blood counts Jessi was transported by ambulance to Egleston Hospital in Atlanta where it was confirmed that Jessi had AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). On November 25th, Jessi was called home to be with God.

Jessi always wanted to help others. She always said when she became cancer free she wanted to visit other children with cancer and encourage them. Jessi’s dream was to “Pay it Forward” to help grant wishes for these other children. Please join us for a day of helping Jessi’s wish come true and granting wishes for more children facing challenging circumstances.

For just $25 per person, you can participate in the double-elimination tournament, with all proceeds benefiting Kingdom Kids. Lily’s Run 2011 is back and even better! Lily and Kingdom Kids are once again partnering to grant wishes for some very special kiddos! Kingdom Kids is honored to support Bo, McKenna, Sarah, Will and Jackson for this year’s event! Read their stories here.

POST RACE ACIVITIES this year are from 12:00- 4:00 PM and will include things for the entire family! There will be lots of new activities in 2011 including a Rock Wall, Inflatable games, Trackless Train and more!! T-shirts can be purchased during on-line registration.

All participants pre-registered by September 19th, 2011 will be guaranteed a race day t-shirt if ordered at time of registration. Additional t-shirts and merchandise will be available the day of the race on a first come first serve basis.
